InfoHarbor was founded by principal Judi Jones in 1998. I have been in the business world for the last thirty years. I have owned and operated small businesses and worked and consulted in large businesses. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know how a business operates and assisting the business to grow and prosper.

My education includes a B. S. in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Science. Prior to that I completed a certificate course as an Executive Secretary. Business letters, procedures, proposals, web site development and maintenance, software sourcing, developing and support, technical writing, bookkeeping, consulting, project management, etc. are all part of my daily life. I provide most of the services myself and team with other excellent professionals on projects.

My customer service skills were honed as a 17-year employee of L. L. Bean, Inc., the sporting goods catalog outfit in Maine. I worked in all of the order entry positions including the first order entry quality control position. I moved on to work in the manufacturing division as production scheduler, production supervisor, and systems administrator. Since leaving there I have been a customer support manager for a small software company and worked at my own companies providing software contracting, technical writing, MIS consulting and administrative services.

I served for six years in various positions on the board of the Downeast Chapter of APICS, the Educational Society for Resource Management, and am currently on the board, acting as Membership Chair and Webmaster and providing the newsletter for the Maine Association of Professional Consultants.
